The phunnel attachment is not glazed. It is made of light-coloured fireclay, a particularly fire-resistant clay that distributes heat evenly and is therefore also used for fireplaces.
When used in a Kaya silicone bowl, this fireclay phunnel is ideally suited for use with a heat management device.
