Hydra 4-hole fireclay insert for silicone bowls

The Hydra tobacco bowl accessory made of fireclay is a multi-hole insert for the Kaya-Shisha silicone bowls. Suitable as a replacement part for our Hydra silicone bowls or as an alternative for the glazed Hydra-X inserts made of terracotta. Also suitable for converting Kaya-Shisha silicone phunnels to chimney bowls.

The Hydra inserts are not glazed. They are made of fireclay, a particularly fireproof clay that distributes heat evenly and is therefore also used for fireplaces. The multi-hole inserts are available in red, blue, black and green. Due to the nature of the material, the colours are slightly dull and resemble those of blackboard crayons because of the matt colour quality.

Note on use and cleaning

If harsher cleaning agents are used to clean the Hydra inserts, they may become discoloured. After prolonged use and frequent cleaning, the inner surface of the bowl may become rougher and even receive a slight yellow tinge due to the contact with soot and molasses. This is completely normal and does not hinder the functionality of the insert.
