Stainless steel Scalli mod for funnels - How and why to use it

For funnels (single-hole tobacco bowls), you place the stainless steel MOD centrally over the hole for the airflow. This prevents tobacco residue, sagging or aspirated aluminium foil from blocking the hole and the airflow remains free and unobstructed. In addition, it prevents the air heated by the charcoal from passing directly through the tobacco bowl. Instead, it is passed on to the tobacco first, which results in a more even heat distribution.
